Avenir Associates is a New Jersey based IT firm providing Professional IT Staffing, Project Consulting, Offshore Development, Technology Solutions, Product Development, and End to End IT Solutions to its Clients in various industry verticals. The client has not updated their old website for quite a long time and needed to create a new one. We have designed a fresh logo, created banding, website design and developed an easy-to-manage corporate website with new features to simplify employees’ lives.
Obviously, as a Drupal Agency, we've used Drupal 8 for this project. By using paragraphs, we've allowed our customer to easily manage website content in a components fashion.
Since it is a pretty simple corporate website, we didnt use anything extra here. Though, we have a couple of features going a bit beyond the usual corporate website requirements.
We've developed a couple of online forms that are being filled out by employees on a monthly basis. These forms result in a PDF report which ends up in a supervisor's inbox. It significantly simplified client's life without adding much of additional expenses for CRM or a task tracker.
One more interesting tech detail, is a frontpage animation. Instead of using video or bulky GIF animation, we've used Lottie to create a scalable animated illustration. BTW, feel free to read more about Lottie in a blog article prepared by our designer.
It's always hard to make a conclusion in a case study. Overall, I think it is a good example how even a small company can benefit from using Drupal and recent Frontend technologies without spending a fortune.
